Why Google doesn't allow ZERO STARS for reviews of organizations like Core Spaces is beyond me. This company is a class action law suit waiting to happen. Just read the reviews from all of their sites across the country, they're all consistently bad. Wifi doesn't work, walls are paper thin, when items break in the units, its takes forever to get them fixed, poolside JumboTron at the Hub at Virginia Tech hasn't worked all year. Hot tubs on move in were filled with green slime, garage doors consistently break. Almost EVERYTHING at the Hub that lead us to pay higher rent than other choices hasn't worked all year. My Son and his 3 roommates are all moving out to other, better situations next year.

Would give a zero but it’s not an option. Oliv Auburn is a train wreck to live and deal with. Only students at the desk and an Assistant Manager that you can only get ahold of once a then she doesn’t return calls. Call Core Spaces and can’t reach anyone, only leave a message and no one calls back. Don’t pay your rent and they send you a notice that they are evicting you and going after you. It’s time we go after them for putting its residents in deplorable living conditions and charging for services not rendered.

Oliv property in Tempe has been without hot water for 3 days and Core had done NOTHING to get the hot water fixed for hundreds of Tennants. The elevators have been down and ASU students were forced to use stairs for 16+ floors. The most expensive apartment complex and you'd think we were in a third world company in the projects. Imagine if an employee of Core had their daughter or son staying in a shanty like this! I bet there would be no issues like this. I'll be calling the city of Tempe to discuss the issues at hand.

I've emailed corspace multiple times and called, leaving a message explaining the living situation of my daughter who is currently in one of their apartment complexes, BLVD63 (99% students) . Contacting them was the only solution I found after what my daughter has had to experience since she's moved in. The staff doesn't care about the residents at all, they do not represent the mission Corespace says they align with. One being that the "RESIDENT ARE FIRST!" I have never experienced or witnessed such disgusting behavior coming from the staff, their disregard for customer service, safety and precautions, and bending the rules when benefiting them but not willing to work with their residence with horrible circumstances like my daughter is in. They created a dangerous, unlawful, uncomfortable situation from the first day she moved in and proceeded to do so.

Expert renovicters. (Renoviction is when a company buys a building, evicts all the tenants under the name of “renovation,” and then hikes the rent so much that none of the original tenants can come back and the building has been successfully flipped to high-end renters. This process takes advantage of a bunch of loopholes in laws that otherwise protect people against mass, arbitrary eviction.) Do not trust this company. If your building was bought by Core Spaces, find your local tenants union. You can fight back.

Core Spaces renovicted around a thousand people here in Santa Barbara this month, blowing a gigantic hole in our community by forcing people to leave town and thereby making our endemic rent problem much worse. This is a heartless company and you should not support them because it does greedy things only out of fear. Pray for them.

I can only imagine how unreliable they are as a company, seeing as their employees who play in our 16" softball league under their company name repeatedly don't show up to play. Inability to follow through on commitments is a character trait, that it's so ingrained in this team of employees speaks volumes to their company culture.
