Do NOT go to this place if you want riding lessons. I am an experienced amazon which hasn’t been riding for the last 10 years. Before my lesson I expressly told them I wasnt comfortable saddling my horse, so ive requested assistance to do so. My teacher, in the end, helped me to tight the straps that go on the horses belly. After I rode my horse, uneventfully, I was dismounting and the saddle came down with me. I landed on my knee and ruptured two ligaments and my meniscus.
I was left on the ground with absolutely no assistance . The teacher, Marie, was laughing when I feel, even though I expressed that I was in extreme pain. She even asked me if I could take my horse back. I still had to chase someone down so I could pay and leave since no one was assisting me, they just left me on the ground and went about with their day.
I just moved to Belgium so my residency process is ongoing, hence, I didnt had health insurance yet, since I still dont have a National Number. Upon calling to the manager to talk about the situation and explain the consequences of their irresponsibility (I lost my job and had to go back to my country for surgery) he greeted us with extreme disrespect, calling me and illegal immigrant - I am an European citizen - and said that I was after money.
In all of my years riding horses Ive never seen such neglect, irresponsibility and indifference. The place is very pretty and all but the quality of professionals, if you interested in riding horses, is below par. Be careful.
