I have been taking my father to Dr. Sokol since being released from a 3 month hospital stay in May of 2020. Dr. Sokol has been instrumental in my dad’s health, tweaking things, getting rid of unnecessary things, discussing lifestyle and diet, and over all saved me from losing my mind with all the specialists and everything going on. We are now down to just Dr. Sokol and a cardiologist who we only have to see once a year. He is very responsive and supportive of my wishes as my dad’s medical power of attorney.

I need to share a personal experience. After having a terrible experience with a couple of primary care doctors who were clearly not staying up to date with the medical literature, I reached out to Dr. Sokol. After a couple of discussions about nutrition and cardiovascular disease, I realized that he is one of the few good ones. He takes the time to listen, encourages questions and debate, and takes his time with each patient. He has even used his personal time to help me out in a few emergency situations. In a field in which many physicians are ruled by the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Sokol has stayed true to the primary goal of helping his patients. He will give you his honest opinion and take the time to explain the details so that you walk out of his office with a clear understanding of where you are and what you need to do. I have known him for a while now and can honestly say he is a good human being and a great doctor. If you are looking for a physician for life, I strongly suggest you make an appointment and meet him. You will not be disappointed.

I switched to Dr. Sokol for his more holistic approach, and at my first appointment he listened intently to what I had going on and I feel like he has a good plan in place on how to help my issues. He is extra educated in the thyroid which is where alot of my problems lie.
He has been very responsive when I reach out with any questions I have which is rare these days.

I have only been to Dr. Sokol twice and each time it was not a pleasing experience. He acts like he’s in a hurry. He comes off very nonchalant as if he does not care about his patients. He legit told me “I don’t know what I’m diagnosing”, like he didn’t know why I was there. I felt like he was not taking me serious at all. Currently looking for another primary health care provider.

A lot of these negative comments are about the practice policies and not about Dr. Sokol's quality of care. He is an AMAZING Dr. Thoughtful, kind, intelligent, listens, patient, stays current on research, and takes your concerns seriously. He's not afraid to give his opinions and advise you on what he believes is best based on his research and experience, even if it may not be a popular opinion. He his one of the best Doctors I have ever had the pleasure of caring for me.
