Dr. Lamont was recommended to us from another cancer patient who said he was awesome. The wife and I agree completely as he is honest, gives you details as to what each procedure is and what to expect. He is very informative and answers questions that we had. After the surgery, he came out to tell me about the surgery for my wife and was again great with details and answered questions. Today, we had to go to Dallas to have another procedure done so that the wife can start her radiation. Again, he is very nice, very informative, great manners, and so on. His staff is great but he is awesome. He is one that we will use and recommend. Such a great asset in the fight with cancer.

Coolest Doctor ever just down right nice. Went for a right side Inguinal hernia he found 2 more small ones on my left side and took care of them all. Explains everything and most definitely answers all questions. I am recovering right now as I'm commenting with little to no pain at all. Hope in a week it still be like this since I herd thats when pain comes in lol...

I was happy with his skills and bedside manner. This was my first surgery and I found his staff, the hospital staff and his attention to my needs very comfortable. I run a courtroom and know how it is to have to face a traumatic event the first time. I have tried to make people that appear feel as good as they can with what they are facing. I felt at ease and went through this much better than originally anticipated.

My insurance was expiring and I had a surgery planned for the last day I had insurance. The surgery required pre-authorization from my insurance. Dr. Lamont’s office filed the pre-authorization wrong twice and the insurance needed more information. His office Manager Jan was not helpful, they didn’t try to help me. I spent literally hours on the phone with my insurance begging and pleading to get the surgery authorized. They did not even call, I did all the work and relentlessly tried to this done. All Jan said was we have to reschedule the surgery. Yes, I explained this was the last day. I finally got the the pre-Auhorization approved ( because they filed it wrong) at 3:00 o clock and called Jan to beg and plead again to put me on the schedule. She said it was too late and I wasn’t getting the surgery. I had been there all day, nothing to eat or drink. I had already had the procedure on Dye being injected in leg to find the path to the lymph nodes. (This was done at another hospital and I had to them go to Baylor Uptown for this surgery.). Now after all this, I’m left not knowing if I have cancer. I have no insurance and I’m a single mom and afford to pay out of pocket. My lymph nodes didn’t get tested and I didn’t get a larger incision to test the spot where the malignant melanoma was found. I’m from Paris and this was to be done in Dallas. The oncology center here helped me all they could and my primary did all they could. I guess I will never know his skills as a surgeon because his staff would NOT help me get this necessary procedure that I desperately needed done and now can’t afford because they wouldn’t help me correct their mistake. I’m a single mom with a son and desperately needed this done. Now I’m left no answers and way to find out if I still have the malignant melanoma!!!

The best doctor I've ever met. He did an experimental procedure on me in 2010 and I'm covinced I'm still here today because of him being willing to do this. His bedside manner is wonderful, but his expertise is excellent enough to call him one of the greats.

Recently diagnosed with PANCREATIC CANCER, Dr. Lamont was recommended for Surgery to remove the tumor. His Staff was OUTSTANDING, Patient, Helpful & Kind!
His Wonderlic scores must hit 50 because his COMMUNICATION SKILLS, His patience & ways of explaining my options made ME WANT SURGERY YESTERDAY! He NEVER once showed any signs of wanting to leave us (despite multiple people waiting) as we asked many questions! If he takes this much time to ease my Family's fears, IMAGINE how He will treat me DURING & AFTER SURGERY!
So to those who mentioned Him BEING LATE, It's probably because he was easing a NEW PATIENT's FEARS! Thank You God for bringing this Young Man into my Family's Life!
