We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Front desk service was excellent, restaurant and bar staff were awesome. We had late night dinner, and the food was great. Breakfast was good and had plenty of options. Rooms were clean and new. It is in a wonderful location within walking distance of shops and restaurants at Dania Pointe. Will stay here again when we are in the area again.

I want to thank the service team at the Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport - Raquel’s, Daniel for the excellent service and attention. And a special thanks to Darlenis (Front Office Manager), who took care of my transactional issues I had (I had some additional charges, by Booking.com and she remedy the problem immediately). ||Quick Summary:||I was surprised at the quality of the hotel and its beautiful facilities (it’s only a three-year-old property). No tell was clean, with a beautiful pool and a huge clean gym. Pool towels, bottle waters, Coffee and tea were free. They provided a complementary shaving kit and toothbrush kit. ||I loved the location and all the wonderful retail outlets and numerous restaurants that surrounded the property. You didn’t even have to leave the area, unless you went to Miami or Las Olas. I have no complaints about any staff member… They all provided excellent service and were always attentive. When I called the lobby for service or housekeeping… It was done without any issues and in a timely manner. ||Overall, this is an excellent property and a gem. I would definitely come back to this property and visit Fort Lauderdale, more extensively. Thank you Marriott for the excellent facility and service!

This hotel has excellent proximity to the airport. Easy to have food delivered from local restaurants. The front desk staff (Raquel) was professional and very welcoming. It’s a great property with comfortable rooms and amenities. The M Club is much better than most. This is a well run property that is focused on guest satisfaction.

We booked this hotel last minute on the app, a day before our cruise. We had an issue with our prior hotel, with overbooking so we needed a place to lay our heads for one night, coming from New York. We found this hotel on the Marriott app, and the reviews seemed pretty positive. We arrived at the hotel, and the neighborhood was really nice, across from a shopping area, with plenty of restaurants. Daily parking was $22.00 a night, and we were aware of this. Parking was plentiful. Entering the hotel, it was nice, very refreshing. There was a bar and restaurant in the lobby, and it felt and smelled very clean. Next, is where they lose a star. The women who checked us in seemed indifferent. It was like she was just there and didn't care. "License and credit card, please" and we gave it to her. She asked for my rewards number, and then handed us our room keys. We were heading to the elevator, and I turned around, and had to ask, what about wi-fi, where is the pool, is there a free breakfast, is their food you recommend? This information wasn't given to us, I had to go back and ask, and thankfully the other hotel staff member at check-in answered all these questions, and not the lady we had checking us in. It was just odd, that this information was not given to us. Then when we tried to leave the parking lot, our room key wouldn't let us out. We tried everything and nothing worked, leaving a 4 car pile up behind us. Thankfully, the lady behind us, who worked at the hotel, got out and tried to help us, but our card didn't work, and allowed us to use her card. When we returned I went to the front desk, and thankfully again, another staff member apologized and gave us new cards, which worked. The non-chalant attitude was just a bit turn-off, (this hotel isn't cheap). The hospitality service we received at check-in was a little cold. Turst me, I don't need a welcome wagon, but a nice smile goes along way, after spending hours traveling. Our room was clean, and the cleaning staff on the 7th floor was really sweet. Everything was quiet, and we heard no noise. It was a very comfortable stay. I would return to this hotel.

CHECK your folio prior to finalizing your checkout to ensure the charges are correct. If not, the hotel manager and staff will not be as responsive. I ended up having to call the hotel 5 times, and a colleague telling the front desk person to leave a note for the manager on my behalf. I finally got a hold of the manager who advised she would call back within 30 minutes for resolution but the call never happened. I called back after waiting nearly 3 hours and spoke with the manager again. She advised the hotel made a mistake on my charges and a correction will reflect on my new folio but it never occurred to her to make a follow up call until I called the hotel.

I came to attend a meeting of the National Association of Wedding Professionals, so really can't comment on the guest rooms, but the meeting/banquet rooms were very modern, spacious, clean, and staff was very attentive. The Hors d'oeuvre were tasty and very nicely presented. Signs from the parking garage to the meeting rooms could be better. Would definitely recommend for meetings/social events/conventions. Clean, modern hotel!

Not clean at all! Sheets looked used. Bathroom was gross ! I had to ask them to come back to clean it 3 times ! When they “ cleaned “ the room nothing was actually cleaned ! I posted pictures ! I had to shower with shower shoes like I was in a motel 6 ! I was so ready to go ! Photos are from AFTER they cleaned my room 3 times ! Never made the bed . Never cleaned any anything! Also the elevators were always dirty ( photos are from 3 different days ) ! My toilet also flooded one day ! Gross

My husband and I had tickets to watch a movie at Dania Point, our anniversary is next weekend so I decided to book a 1 night stay at the Marriott Ft. Lauderdale Airport. The staff were wonderful, they went above and beyond to make our stay feel extra special. When we arrived at our room, they had setup a bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries (my favorite) for us to celebrate. ||The hotel is super clean, the rooms are spacious and the M Club is a great benefit for breakfast and snacks throughout the day! ||If you are visiting the Ft. Lauderdale area, do not hesitate to book at this hotel.
