The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable on auto repair especially smog inspection. Very few mechanics fix old cars due to the rules and regulations of the state of California. This place will work on your new and old vehicles with no problem. Well recommended to everyone and you will definitely be satisfied with his service, I was very happy when my old 2006 toyota highlander passed smog. Thank you Dennis!

I've been working with Al and Dennis for the past three months on reviving a '96 Lexus ES300 that has been sitting for the past three years and with 306k on the odometer and I have to say that this team really knows their trade. I must have spent more than 4k with them but let me tell you, I would spend another 4k with them again for other vehicles. A few characteristics I look for and value highly when it comes to automotive repairs are transparency, honesty and hospitality and since I've championed a good 17 years in customer service facing roles, I know exactly what to look for.

Starting with the initial phone call of fielding out prices of services I knew this business was going to match my energy and vibe. Most auto places won't go the extra mile in explaining why you need specific parts and how they work and why they go back based on x, y and z, as those places are usually looking for a high priced work order to better their business but Dennis breaks it down for you and reassures you why you need x, y and z for the longevity and safety of your vehicle. In the beginning I didn't know I would be dishing out as much as I did but it's inevitable with an older car and given the type of history it has. I am truly thankful and appreciative for all the help, advice and service I've been receiving from Dennis. He really knows his stuff and knows how to execute to meet the needs of his clients. I have another vehicle that I've brought to him as well and he's taken care of that very nicely.

This is an updated review as to now I have a Pathfinder that even though had low mileage had some issues underneath... bad catalytic converter upon other things that needed repair because of normal wear and tear. Dennis provides great information and always willing to go the extra step. I really trust his work and will keep coming back. -----I have been dealing with bad breaks on my 2015 Jeep since it pretty much left the dealership. Not even the Jeep dealership or corporate could fix my break issue. I took my car to P& W Auto Service and smog test and right away Dennis helped me out. We discussed the history of the car and he gave his best recommendation. My parts were replaced with performance parts and now my Jeep drives with no scratchy breaks! Dennis also did a thorough inspection on my car and recommended on other parts getting fixed. P & W Auto Service will be my forever go to spot for my car issues. Your work speaks for itself and I will definitely be coming back for car services.
