Upon arrival, all seems great. Checked in, but then was charged $35 a day for parking. Going up to the room, it looks decent. However, the bathroom smelled absolutely disgusting. We noticed some mold due to lack of cleaning. Pull out couch was extremely uncomfortable, and they didn't even provide linens for it, making it much worse. Only two towels and ONE washcloth was provided for a TWO bedroom suite.

We respectful asked the get more towels and to have the linens changed (the next day) and we're told the housekeeping would only "drop them off" but would not change the linens or clean the rooms. Turns out (per the front desk) "we only clean the rooms every 7 days." That's probably one of the most disgusting things I've ever heard and totally makes sense why the rooms look, feel, and smell the way they do.

The only reason we stayed here was due to it being a neighborhood Disney approved hotel. Which honestly doesn't make sense. I would NOT recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

The only reason to give the hotel service 3 stars was due to the kitchen staff who set up breakfast because they are extremely nice, helpful, and welcoming.

If you're looking to book this hotel for a family Disneyland vacation, then beware. We booked a 2BR suite with Disneyland passes in a package deal through Disney's website. The official Disney hotels were booked, so several "partner/good neighbor" hotels were offered and sold as additional options. Im.shocked this place was affiliated with Disney. The lack of quality is a stark difference from Disney.|The hotel looks good on the outside, but the property is quite worn down on the inside and could desperately use an update/ refurbishment. The 2BR suite we booked had no towels when we checked into our room, so we had to delay our getting the kids settled in. The furniture was worn out and very dated. One of the toilets did not flush. It was quite late, so we waited until morning to report it. They said they'd address it while we were out at the park. When we returned at night, we found no such attention was made, and the toilet still had the mess in it all day. The hotel seems to be understaffed.||The "shuttle" is NOT a hotel nor a Disney shuttle system. It's the bus. The Anaheim Resort area Transit (ART bus). Heads up. There was ONE bus running the route, so it was easily 45 minutes between opportunities to/from the hotel to the park. Apparently we just missed the departing bus when we left the park, because we waited 40 minutes for the bus to arrive...but the line was so long at the pick-up area, that the bus filled up before we could even get on. Rather than wait another 45 minutes, we just got an Uber. ||The shuttle system is a joke, too. You have to buy the bus pass and use a special app to use it. They scan the barcode on your phone to use the bus. But everyone in your party has a separate ticket/barcode. The barcode changes and updates every minute, so using a screenshot and saving it isn't an option. Heads up. Parking your car at the hotel is an attractive option and not having to pay for parking, but really, we would have been better off (arrived/departed more quickly) just driving the car to the park and avoiding the bus.

We were definitely fans of our suite with the bigger beds and the separation the different rooms provided. The two bathroom suite was a bonus. The fridge/freezer was nice to have, and the kitchenette was bonus! We saved money by not eating out so much.

The breakfast was a great value.

The pool area is large, and the hot tub is secluded from the pool, which makes it tougher for parents to keep tabs on their kids, but it's nice for childless patrons.

The only real issue we had was that our toilet kept clogging, and our showers and sinks didn't drain quickly.

We do recommend this place.

Sweet surprise! stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit downstairs. Very comfortable beds, plenty of space for families. Full kitchen (a stove would of been nice) and more cooking utensils. Loved the pool and jacuzzi (lots of debris from trees around jacuzzi) but it was a nice addition after a long day at the parks. Very friendly staff and helpful. Son loved the 24 hour work out room. We loved the laundry facility. Grills were a great option for a nice BBQ. Our room was very quiet. Easy check in and out. They do charge a daily parking fee...so inquire cause I guess price can go up and down. Also just an FYI the ART does pick up at the hotel, but we found out the hard way that it is on a route that hits many other hotels along the way, so it took us quite a bit to get to the park. And we had issues all day with the ART (was not on schedule at all the day we used them) decided to uber the rest of the week. It would be an awsome investment if the hotel got their own shuttle for their own customers to make it a quicker trip to get to disney. Over all, we loved the hotel, staff and amenities we had for our week stay!

Sonesta was the best hotel we stayed at! We felt very comfortable and welcoming the moment we walked in! Julio helped us get checked in and made sure we had everything we needed, he is AWESOME! It was me and my two girl friends and it was everything we needed! The room was exceptionally clean and had all of the assets we didn’t know that we needed! It included a stove sink and fridge which made traveling so easy. It was located so close to Disneyland and a plaza with tons of yummy restaurants, walking distance! The environment was very sweet and exciting which we appreciated! We will DEFINITELY be back at sonesta in the future❤️
