Great building to work in. Loved the gallery, the coffee shop, and the food selections on the first floor. Very clean, and well kept up building.

It's a big building... Still doesn't have a rooftop lounge area despite promising one for years. Far from most anything you'd want to go to. Only redeeming quality is the shuttle that will take you to the subway stations so you don't have to walk 10+ minutes.

The factory is the Latest attempt by NYC to create a better atmosphere for city workers.
While a grand idea it is in the middle of nowhere where with no access to public transportation.
There are no trees.
The city keeps building new facilities for the department of health and wasting a lot of money developing more buildings that they grow out of in a 5 years .
Metro tech expenses to build all this office space then they abandoned it to developers for .5 cents on the dollar.
Less money needs to be spent on new buildings as the air conditioning in this one is always on the fritz and more money getting better management for the healthcare workers who apparently have been told to not collaborate about their different missions.

On first glance you wouldn't have imagined that this space would be so varied in its choices. There are different eateries on the ground level (dumplings at Vanessa's Dumpling House, pizza, Papillon for bakery goods to name a few), a gym, and an art gallery on either end.

Inside, the public eating area is very clean and inviting, with bench seating as well as soft couches and areas for collaborative meetings. They most recently also painted the wall which is a nice splash of color.

Outside there are rotating food trucks offering various cuisine depending on the day of the week.

My favorite part is the art, which is local, and changes every month. The pieces make you think as you seek a brief escape from the mundane work life.

Not really feeling good about the open office set up. The lack of privacy and the call center vibe just makes you want to be somewhere else. The elevators are amazing ?. Maybe I'd feel better working in the elevators lol.
