Worst manicure I’ve ever received. It’s not super clean, one of the nail ladies was curled up in a chair with her shoes off. I asked for square, the edges were so left sharp that I left a visable scratch on myself. The paint chipped within a few hours and most of my nails broke because they were not filed properly. I had to wait to pay, really should have just walked out.

I stopped in due to convenience and left happy. The staff was very friendly. Prices were reasonable. I had rhinestones placed on one of my nails, and a lot of other places charge per stone and I was happy to see that they didn’t do that here. I would definitely return.

Today I was beyond disappointed. I have been a loyal customer for months. I go once a month and get regular manicures from the same lady who sits all the way in the back on the left side. She has always done a fantastic job and I’m always happy with her work. Today I decided to dip powder and had to sit with Lee (the owner/manager) because the regular girl I do my nails with doesn’t do dip powder. I asked for a black French tip. The black lines are clearly not straight. When I expressed my concern to her about the right pinky looking crooked she tried to say it was me. I am not one to complain, I don’t like doing that but today I was extremely upset with her work. My nails aren’t even filed evenly. Both thumbs are crooked and anyone can see that. There is stuff under my nails from the powder which she didn’t even clean up until I asked her to. Even then it’s still bad. The cuticles were not touched and they just look bad. If a customer who is loyal tells you she doesn’t like the work, you don’t go trying to say it’s the customer. Charging $52 for this mess of a job is ridiculous. I was better off just getting a regular manicure with the usual lady I always sit with. Lee was just trying to rush and if she thinks her customers don’t notice, they do.

The woman who did my nails (older woman with short ginger hair) was rough the whole time, I literally had to pull my hands away more than 3 times while she was filing off my regular gel nail polish & cuticles and not once did she apologize. She was in a rush the whole time and once she was finished with all the coats she dug her actual finger nails under mine to separate my skin from the powder that she had applied and ALSO used a cuticle cutter to try and cut off the black powder that was stuck to my fingers, I had to actually say to her that she was cutting my fingers and not my cuticle, even then she didn’t seem to bothered by it. And to make it worse once my nails dried they were streaky so the owner came and tried to fix them but this is what I left with. I’m genuinely so disappointed and annoyed after being there for over an hour and a half. Not sure if she was just having a bad day but this is completely unacceptable.

Have been going here for years now! Service 100% and due to an allergic reaction I developed over the years I ONLY get my nails done here. They are extremely careful with me and take their time, pay attention to details & are always on time for my appointments.

Added a pic of my latest set done yesterday!

I had a powder gel manicure with an older woman with ginger hair and eyeglasses. I knew it was going to be tough when she challenged my nail color selection. The products she used were congealed so she had to keep pouring chemicals in each bottle. I asked her to keep the length and file. She filed and filed until I lost length. After my nails were done, I noticed polish all over my cuticles. I had to ask her for lotion and she squeezed a few drops in my hand. My hands were still dry so I asked for more. She poured so much lotion that I had to ask for a paper towel to wipe it off. For powder gel, they don't wrap your nails with foil. They make you soak off your gel in an open bowl and put a paper towel in the bottom of the bowl which is terrible. Just take a look ... it took forever and left a terrible residue on my hands.

So, my first experience wasn’t the greatest but, that was my fault. I went on a friday, late afternoon. They were VERY BUSY and i didn’t make an appointment. So, i did not get my nails done. Service was not nice.

This time, i still didn’t make an appointment but, i went in Thursday, early afternoon. The ladies were accommodating and, i think they weren’t too sure about the intricacies of the the design i showed them. But, once i explained, they were ok. The price they quoted was exactly the price I paid.

Now, the manicure: The place i went to before, it was on Knollwood Rd. The tech did not care. Did not push my cuticles back, so my nails didn’t really look like they were just done. And, i asked for coffin. I don’t know what he did to my nails.

At this nail salon, they pushed my cuticles back, and shaped my nails to a true coffin, and my pinky into a stilleto. I was very happy with the shaping and making sure the nail was smooth without dents. I was very happy when they made sure that my nails looked POLISHED and PRISTINE! They were even proud of their work! GREAT JOB, LADIES!!! I will be back! I highly recommend this nail salon. Please make an appointment, i promise, when they really have the time to dedicate to their customers, they will make sure you leave happy! Photos do not do it justice. The glare from the gold is making it look blurry.
